I bought WD-450 and the battery died in less than a year. Called customer service and they gave me a real hard time.
I even put the phone on speaker phone so they rep could hear the battery dying. Finally, the rep gave me a fax number and an email address. I sent proof of purchase to both places. 2 weeks later, I call to follow-up and a customer service rep tells me the replacement had not been sent to me and if this was the first Waterpik I had ever returned.
I assured her I had never returned anything to Waterpik and she told me she was going to process the replacement. Both times, during my calls I got the impression Waterpik did not want to stand behind their warranty.
